Guidelines For Submitting Abstracts For Free Presentation / e-Poster

Note : To present an oral free Presentation / e-Poster:

• Free Presentations/ e-posters can be submitted by IAGMH members and non-members.
• Abstracts must be clearly typed in Calibri or Arial, font size 12, with a maximum of 250 words only.
• The abstract should be structured as Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
• Case report abstracts for e-posters: 250-word limit with headings of Background, Case Summary, and Learning Points.
• The names of authors, affiliations, and their IAGMH membership status must be mentioned.
• The full communication address, including the affiliation and e-mail of the corresponding author, must be available.
• The corresponding author must have taken written consent from all co-authors.
• If it is original research, information on institutional ethics committee approval or exemption should be clearly mentioned.
• If it is a case report, written informed consent from the patient and/or caregiver must be taken.
• Abstracts not in the recommended format will not be considered.

Free Presentation Presentations

• Time allocated: 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.
• Kindly be mindful of the allocated time as a courtesy to the audience and fellow presenters.

E-Poster Display

• Format: Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx)
• Slide Count: Single slide only
• Orientation: Landscape
• Slide Size: Widescreen 16:9
• Size: Max 10MB
• The slide should be static — do not include animations, transitions, or videos.
• Use sans-serif fonts like Arial, Calibri, Helvetica, or Open Sans.
• Maintain consistent font types and sizes across all sections.
• Keep font size 24 pt or larger to ensure clear readability.
• Ensure good contrast between text and background.
• Avoid overly decorative fonts that may hinder legibility.
• Use bullet points, concise text, and high-quality visuals (charts, photos, tables).
• Maintain a consistent color scheme and layout.
